The project lead sales position at Evergreen Construction is an 18- to 24-month entry-level sales position. This position at Evergreen starts at the door by introducing yourself via ringing a prospect's doorbell. You can earn 6 figures doing this, but to do so requires a proactive sales approach. If waiting for inbound leads, such as Internet submissions or phone calls, is your preference, this isn't the position for you.


The project leads that succeed at Evergreen make it work by working hard to hit their sales goals. In addition to meeting and greeting prospects at their doors, you must have a "do what it takes" attitude. This means you must be willing and able to build Evergreen awareness on social media, place yard signs in the ground and in a neighborhood's social channels, and more.


Make no mistake; door knocking is the key ingredient to meeting sales goals. It's also the catalyst for building an Evergreen neighborhood, which requires solid customer referrals. To position you for success, we will train you on the Evergreen sales approach to deliver excellent service that earns referrals from satisfied customers.


A project lead is held accountable for the following:

- Sell roofing, siding and windows repair and replacement to achieve sales goals
- Target homeowners of homes with old and/or storm damaged exteriors
- Answer all homeowners' emails, texts, and phones calls within 24 hours
- Perform daily sales pipeline management via Evergreen's CRM
- Perform daily selling outside in metro neighborhoods assigned by senior project leads
- Engage in bi-weekly sales development coaching with an assigned senior project lead
- Follow up with every homeowner after the construction work is completed to ensure we earned his or her referral
- Close all customers with interactive contracts/forms on Evergreen issued laptop
- Serve as the sales contact and customer service rep, serving as the connection between the homeowner and Evergreen from project start to completion of the install
- Perform final inspections on Evergreen's crews after 120 days with company


Requirements to apply:

- Positive attitude
- Proven track record of employment for a minimum of 1 year
- Ability to climb an 8/12 pitch from a ladder; carry ladder
- Competitive mindset
- Proactive approach to problem solving
- Pride of ownership in quality work and service
- Ability to negotiate and close deals
- Team player
- Outgoing personality who handles rejection well
- Curiosity to grow and understand the business
