Job Description
As a Swim Instructor at North Shore Swim Club, you will lead swimming programs and provide customized individual and group lessons for children of different ages and skill levels. This position is perfect for students with a genuine love for swimming, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to inspire young swimmers and cultivate a respect for the water. We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Swim Instructor to join our team in Duluth, MN.
Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and abilities
• Maintain a safe and encouraging learning environment
• Evaluate student progress and offer feedback and support as necessary
Requirements
• Experience working with diverse age groups and abilities, ideally in an educational or instructional setting
• Proficient in various swim strokes and techniques
• Knowledgeable in water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Strong communication, organizational, and creative teaching skills
• Effective behavior management capabilities
• Background in childcare or sports coaching is advantageous
• Passion for swimming and working with children.
